Shahi Kheer or Paneer Kheer |
The method of preparation is smilar to wha is followed for making rice kheer or the other types of kheer. The only difference is that to prepare shahi kheer, instead of using rice, grated cottage cheese is slow cooked in milk till the mixture reaches a thick consistency and then is added with sugar and dry fruits. This is an easy to prepare dessert but tastes absolutely divine. After the kheer gets prepared, bring it to room temperature and then keep it in the refrigerator for a few hours. It tastes even better.
